BioAt the moment I’m studying at the Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien at Erwin Wurm’s class. Also I study on shared time at the Bildende Kunst. I finished Fine Arts Academy in Mexico City on 2005, at the same year I came to Austria with an artistic residency at Künstlerhaus Studio in Salzburg and next year I had a scholarship for the Summer Academy at the Salzburg’s fortress. I have had participated at different art festivals with local artists in Austria like the Shmiede Festival, editions 2006, 2007 and 2008 in Hallein and the White Club in Salzburg, editions 2006 and 2008. The Dubai Gallery Carbon12, contemporary art, represents my work at the United Arab Emirates, where I had exhibited my work too. My latest solo show was in Vienna at the offspacecenter: C17. It was a project called “Voodoo Tales” involving big format painting, music, light a theatre layer installation made of paper, video projection to create a complete ambience.
I studied a master in psychoanalysis in Mexico City and I had solo shows on 2006 at KBK arte Contemporáneo Gallery. On the same year, Martin Sbovoda curated an exhibit for Funk Fu Net virtual gallery created in Prague. Before I exhibited in Proyectos Monclova, a contemporary project space for young artists and I had two ”open studio” receptions in the Landesatelier-Künstlerhaus Salzburg during my stay in 2005.
I have had participated in several collective exhibits with different galleries like Ramis Barquet in New York, Garash Galería in México City, Luis Adelantado in Valencia, Art & Idea Vienna and Poly Gallery in Karlsruhe, Germany. On 2008 I participated at the WTC art fair in Beijing China and two years ago at Miami Scope art fair.
I’ve been quite busy organizing my own projects with artists from different countries, nationalities and art medias, involving sponsorships from international cultural institutions as well as private companies. I did several exchange projects between Austria and Mexico and on 2008 I was in charge of the exhibit in Bilbao Arte foundation in Spain.
